Eco Council
At Jotmans Hall Primary School we are committed to becoming a greener, more sustainable school. Our goal is to reduce our carbon footprint, promote environmental awareness, and equip our pupils with the knowledge and habits needed to care for our planet.
Each year the children elect a representative from their class to sit on the Eco Council. This pupil group is led by Miss Groves and they help develop the future Eco policies for the school.
With help from the Eco Council, Jotmans Hall School achieved the Eco Schools award in 2023.
The Eco Council also help their classmates with recycling initiatives, healthy schools promotions and litter picking around the school.
As well as our Eco Council we are committed to developing a more sustainable school in all areas of operations.
